Rewilding the Page

A Nature Writing Course

“The stories we tell about the world shape our reality. We must tell stories that uphold the bonds of community.”

— Robin Wall Kimmerer

What does it mean to ‘co-author with Earth’?

How does language shape our perception of, and connection to, the natural world?

How can the practice of writing transform us into more caring inhabitants of our precious planet?

Rediscover the world through words

View the Earth with a writer’s eye. Explore ecological themes like wildness and non-humanity; enmeshment and seasonality; scientific and animistic approaches to knowing — and many more.

Reconnect and transform

Attune to the living world all around us, channelling inspiration from the everyday vibrancy of the planet to enrich your artistic process.

Is this for me?

An ideal creative writing course for…

  • anyone curious about language's power to transform our understanding of and relationship with the natural world

  • any writer returning from a hiatus, wishing to unblock and recover their creative energies

  • anyone seeking solace from climate despair, ready to answer the call to stewardship in the spirit of beauty

  • any writer wishing to explore and deepen ecological themes in their work
